Police Vest Fund

Your contributions make a difference in our community.

The Tower Lakes Police Department is in need of funds to help provide current and new officers with modern protective vests. The cost of each vest is in the $700 range with a two to five years expiration date depending on manufacturer. As a result, a call to the Tower Lakes community for financial assistance is being sought.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

We are asking all residents, and particularly those residents that rely on our police officers to protect our property during extended time away from home, consider making a donation to help defray the cost. A tax deductible amount of $50 - $100 is suggested but any amount would be helpful and greatly appreciated.

You may write a check to the Tower Lakes Community Foundation (TLCF) which is a non-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization, and will collect the funds provided for the purchase of vests and other police needs. Please, indicate in the memo field of the check “Police Vest Fund.” Mail your donation to Tower Lakes Community Foundation, P.O. Box 6061, Wauconda, IL 60084.

OR you may pay by credit card or PayPal by clicking on the link to the right. All contributions are tax deductible to the full extent of the law and each contributor will receive a charitable receipt.

Police Chief Sam Sinacore has agreed to provide a report of the funds used after the drive is completed and items purchased.

Thanks for your support.
